This semi-abstract painting on canvas is inspired by hedonistic music in all its forms. It is a bright and emotive painting full of crowds of people enjoying the music in full effect. 

The series of crowd paintings was started in 2009 as totally abstract works. The crowds of people gradually emerged from the abstract soup. This particular painting was produced in 2014 from an abstract start point.

Successive paintings shift between abstraction and figuration using the technique of rehearsed spontaneity to achieve a painting full of vitality and flux.
