Rescue is a dramatic original painting which will save any interior design scheme
Exclusive to this web site, this painting is part of a large body of work featuring crowds of people in dramatic landscapes from the studio of North Yorkshire based British visual artist Neil McBride.
Inspired by the dramatic coastal landscape of North Yorkshire, this original acrylic painting gives a bleak impression of, normally welcoming, places like Boggle Hole, Staithes, Danes Dyke and Flamborough in the wildest of weather.
The story is that a crowd of rescuers on the sea shore are deliberating about the possible rescue of someone caught in a rip tide just off the coast. The subject of the painting may be quite unsettling but it still remains a quite contemplative piece that would go down well with a drop of whiskey and an open mind on a winter's evening.
The painting has a very strong bias towards the blue colour spectrum but will sit quite happily in a black and white interior due to the subdued tones and hues.
